Tomorrow I have to spend the whole day cleaning, for we are welcoming our first official honored guests this weekend, after three years we moved in!  There were guests, I mean.  But most of them knocked at the door unexpectedly.  After seeing the house, listening to us apologizing for it being too messy, they said “we totally understand” and never show up again – not just in front of the house – in our lives.

The house is really a challenge and the guests are quite hard to be impressed.  If you read “our monster house” poem in our book, you know what kind of house I am talking about.  If you remember “Zoe’s mom”, you know what kind of guests I am talking about.

In China, there is a saying “the ugliest wife still needs to see the in-laws”.  So let’s get the monster house ready!
